For the second year in a row, Team 10U Travel Maryland represented upstate New York in the regional tournament and won the MD Ripken State Championship. For the first time in the program's history, an U12 player won a national championship in a single-team competition at the Maryland Collegiate Athletic Association (MCA) tournament.
This year, the 12U travel team will perform in Cooperstown, and both the 10U and 13U teams will return to Myrtle Beach. The 12-man team produced the best World Series it has ever had, rising from Pool Play to make it to the final of the United States, which they narrowly lost 7-5. The match of the U12 US Championship was played on August 6, 2016, when Japan won the championship.
As more students return, school staff will continue to track which students are in the building every day while they study at Harford County Public Schools. Pupils who are already part of a person - a learning cohort - will continue to attend the same school as the person they are learning from.
As more students come to us on Monday, October 19, 2020, the Emotional Recovery Team, which was created to support students and staff during the pandemic, would like to offer some tips on how to talk to your children about returning to school. Please listen to the announcement of the cancellation of the program on the Harford County Public Schools Facebook page for more information.

We believe that SAFETY is the most important word in the program, with FUN a very close second behind, but we want you to know that we apply our long-standing commitment to protecting your privacy to your Internet activities.
In three months of playing time, we learned a lot about a great baseball game, made new friends, met ourselves, and had a great time playing America's pastime. Many of our teams were able to play their league matches on the beautiful fields of the Ripken Complex in Aberdeen. Our 12U team won the Harford County District tournament, earning them a spot in the Maryland State High School Baseball League (MHSL). Many HFG players later contributed to the success of their respective teams in high school baseball. There are many great baseball teams in Maryland, as well as other parts of the country.
Our 12U team had a great week at the Maryland State High School Baseball League (MHSL) tournament and ranked first among the 16 - 104 teams. Our 10u team finished their semifinal with a win against the top team in the state, the Harford County School District (HCSD).
In March 2018, Forbes magazine ranked Piole Park in Camden Yards as the second best ballpark in the nation. The Orioles moved to their current home, Camden Yard in Baltimore, Maryland, in 1992 and developed a competitive team under the leadership of former Orioles coach and general manager John Aparicio. In the early 1990s, the Orioles signed two of baseball's most talented young players, Chris Davis and Manny Machado, and signed long-term free agents.
On December 16, 2020, Major League Baseball reclassified the Negro Leagues into Major Leagues, and now includes the 3,400 players who played in the seven leagues from 1920 to 1948. There are many details that we still need to work on, but we need to make it clear that sports programmes for our young people should not be subject to the same standards of behaviour as any other public school programme. To underline this, we will continue our codes of conduct for parents and coaches throughout the year. When the county's COVID-19 metrics reach that threshold, action must be taken to ensure the health of our students and staff.
