I cycled the Great Glen for charity (Kingswell & Westhill First responders). Started at Fort William and headed to Inverness. Never do this. It's very hard. No seriously, the locals will tell you its flat. Liars!

I can usually be found terrorising motorist and people around City centre on my Mountain Bike. Reading a book or lazing in front of the telly.

Besides hanging out with my friends I mainly like to go hiking. For most of 2009 I was based in Norway so there were plenty of opportunities for that!

I also like to travel (doesn't everyone?), I've travelled extensively round Europe and been to a few places in Canada and the USA. For 2010 I'm considering Latin America, I'm especially keen to take intensive Spanish lessons while there.

In terms of music I mainly like 'coffee shop' stuff: Hot Chip, Data Rock, Air, the Doors, Zero 7 etc.

Can anyone really get enough information to form an opinion on someone from a "self-summary"? How much can you really tell? Ah well what the heck here goes....

I'm a generally an easy guy to get along with, I can be quite shy at first or so i've been told. I cuss alot at myself and sing alot even though I am terrible at it, even more bizzarely I can tend to start singing at really random times like walking down the street... Although never alone only when I am with people. I don't take things too seriously, well not everything.

I am at that stage where I prefer a few beers in either good company at home or in a small bar... Yes I hate clubs. Honestly when I go out these days I actually want to hear and have a conversation with the people I am with. Not scream at them over some rubbish music.

I enjoy watching films, I am a big fan of dialouge driven movies, Movies that don't rely on the glitz, the names or special effects but have strong acting and stories. But I am not a movie snob as you'll see when you come to some of my favourites further down ! I enjoy watching & playing Soccer which, being Scottish, has at times made me cry !

I've always had the urge to visit new places (and I have done a fair bit of traveling already) and see a bit of the world, so it would be nice to meet someone who feels likewise. Finances permitting, of course !

Well summer for me this year means back to T in the Park, which was awesome last year, so can't wait. Oh, and speaking of bands also Brand New concert. WOOOOOOO!

Ok, so it says to expand to 500 words to raise my percentage so sorry, it told me to go on! What I don't get though is that below this previously blank box it tells me how many characters I've used, not how many words. So how am I supposed to know when the appropriate time to stop rambling is?

Well, got the 500 and now need 1000 so maybe I'll actually say a bit about myself.

Hmmmm.Harder than I thought to do that. So much information on here already. I'm quite typical apart from being strange. More mature than some people my age, and less than others. I don't want to grow up yet - I had my couple of years trying to act like a grown up most of the time and I didn't take to it- definitely don't miss it.
I'm a bit of a dabbler - I'll try anything but not usually for long, unless I'm good at it. I do come back to things but sometimes takes a while.
Guess I could say a bit about my job. Sounds like interview talk but most of the time I enjoy it and the feeling that I'm making a difference, every now and then someone thanks you and it kinda makes all the other crap worth while. Not that all the other crap isn't there, just sometimes it's harder to deal with than others.
